Staying warm has never been so comfortable. Fall In Parka is a surprisingly light winter coat with Primaloft® padding and waterproof outer fabric. It’s a classic, long parka with storm hood that will keep you warm in any rough weather.
Fall In Parka is our interpretation of the classic padded parka. What makes it different? We have made it in soft, silent and light fabrics which gives an unmatched sense of comfort. It also means that we are reducing the environmental impact by using recycled and recyclable fabrics. We also avoid PFAS. Fall In Parka gives you the sheltered feeling of a classic parka, but is much lighter and softer.
Fall In Parka is padded with a synthetic padding called Primaloft® Silver Insulation Hi-Loft Ultra. It’s a lightweight padding with very high warmth-to-weight ratio and excellent breathability. It’s made from recycled and recyclable fibers. We prefer to work with synthetic padding for several reasons but primarily because it performs better in wet conditions and we can avoid the down industry. We don’t want to risk hurting any birds.
The outer fabric is called Spheric 2-layer Hardshell. It’s a recycled and recyclable shell fabric equipped with our well tested membrane Atmos. Atmos is a pure polyester membrane (and therefore recyclable) completely free from PFAS.
If you are looking for a personal cocoon to keep you warm in any rough weather, this is your jacket. Wear it to work, on a Sunday stroll or in the ski slopes on cold days.
This product is recyclable and we kindly ask you to return it to us when it’s completely worn out.

When washing clothes made of synthetic fabrics, the use of a washing bag becomes even more important: It prevents microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.
The Circular label means that this product is made either from recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable fibers. Most products in today's society are made in a linear lifecycle, where earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This is not working in the long run and comes at a great environmental impact. Instead, we want to close the loop and reuse the material we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us through the recycling units we have in all our own stores and at many retailers.
The Recycled label means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothes or other sources like PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many benefits. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. How much depends on the type of recycling. One of our suppliers show 32% less CO2 emissions and 94% less water use for mechanically recycled polyester. Besides the production impact, the major shift is using "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
The Recyclable label means that the raw material in this product can be used for new products, instead of becoming waste. Our goal is that by 2030, we will take no raw material to our products from the earth's crust. Circular products, made from reycled and recyclable materials are a real game changer, but we need your help for the system to work. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us. We have recycle units in all of our own stores and at many retailers.

Our delivery times are 1-3 days within Sweden. All orders made before 12 PM will normally be sent the same workday. All orders are processed at our distribution center in Stockholm, Sweden and we ship all orders with Postnord or Budbee.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and that your Houdini products will be with you for a long time ahead, therefore we have a 365 days return policy. The only condition is that the products will remain in their original condition with tags. Send us your return with the prepaid shipping label you get inside your package.

The jacket is long, warm and nice, with fantastic outer fabric. Large pockets and a two-way zipper. I am 195cm and 100kg. XL is a little too wide in the body and the arms are too long. L is a little tight in the body, but the arm length is just right. I chose XL, but if you are in doubt, try both. Happy with the jacket and my choice, but should have had a size L 1/2.
The parka meets all expectations. It is ideal for stormy conditions and rain.
Great in concept, poor in durability.
I've had two Houdini parkas so far, but both started to fall apart after about three seasons. I expect greater durability from a garment of this price.
The concept is great: waterproof, breathable, warm, and a really good shape, plus wonderful huge pockets, big enough to hold my headphones etc.
The main issue is the fabric is so thin. The cuffs in particular wear out fast and then the inner parts of the 3L fabric start to fall out. The lining material is also incredibly thin and starts to tear just from normal use. A real shame as this mars an otherwise excellent garment.

The jacket is good..could be almost perfect. Sizing is really big. I'm 194cm and 88kg and size L is just right.
- Inside breast pocket should be little bit larger and on both sides. - Hood should be " molded " forward more on top to prevent snow/water on eyes in blizzard - Hood cords go in to the jacket ( if pulled tight and released ) which are really hard to take out from lining afterwards and super annoying. - double flaps on front pockets are more in the way than useful - on the back or inside the jacket should be a strap that you can hang the jacket ( now its hidden in the hood )

I love the product combined with Houdini’s climate and environmental efforts. The parka is just warm enough, incredibly comfortable and really light (runs large). There’s one glaring omission in really having a hard time understanding: there’s no tab to hang the jacket on a hook. I’m afraid this will eventually lead to a hole in the hood.
Exceptionally well-crafted winter parka. Impossibly lightweight and stylish, I absolutely love my new coat. Only very minor pet peeve is that there isn't a coat hook loop on the inside for hanging up your parka after a long day out.
Pros: Jacket is warm, PFAS-free, lightweight, well-fitting and perfect for a variety of activities (including biking and hiking). I have tried a bunch of winter insulated jackets - ranging from Arcteryx to Canada Goose to Woolrich's and a few other hardcore brands. Nothing stacks up to this parka in terms of weight to warmth ratio along with functionality.
Cons: The zipper. Two of these jackets developed the same problem resulting in the zipper getting stuck at the bottom once and once at the top. The first jacket was replaced under warranty by my local retailer. Now, the replacement Parka that developed a similar problem is being replaced by Houdini at no charge to me.
Houdini's Customer Service has been immensely helpful in managing this whole process and provided some instructions on how to handle the issue. I have also purchased a couple of other products from this brand - and the quality of materials + customer service is unmatched.
I bought this coat as a birthday present for my boyfriend and it’s a huge succes! It looks stunning and is beautifully made. It keeps him warm and dry in the Dutch winter (rain and more rain) and is great for hiking and everyday use. He’s 1.94 m tall with very long arms but I went for a medium based on the reviews and it fits like a glove. Even the sleeves are more than long enough. Best of all, it’s crafted in Europe and for that reason alone I’m a huge ambassador of your brand.
For me, I give it five stars for the environmental responsibility first and foremost. I also like the brand, from a purely branding standpoint. The jacket itself is CAVERNOUS. I am 5'11 average build and I have their Dunfri and Daybreak, several shirts all in medium and they are a perfect fit. So I ordered the Fall-in in medium but let me tell you, a small would look way better. I'll allow the extra space however for layering, say the Dunfri. I just got it (Nov. 16 '23) as of this review but I trust it's built really well and will keep me warm.
