At the start of the millennium we set out to design the perfect technical mid-layer - a reliable companion for every outdoor adventure, so comfortable you wouldn’t want to take it off, with timeless design aesthetics and tailored craftsmanship. The Power Houdi became an instant success, has remained virtually unchanged since its creation more than 20 years ago and continues to be the thermal layer of choice among ourselves and fellow adventurers across the globe.

Fabrics & Technology

The Power Houdi is made with Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™, one of the finest technical mid-layer fabrics that money can buy. It’s not only incredibly durable. The fabric technology provides great thermal capacity and stretch, equally great breathability, next-to-skin-comfort and moisture management. The fabric goes through an incredibly intricate production process in 23 different stages before it is finished. The engineering and attention to detail is what makes Power Stretch® Pro™ almost impossible to imitate and why it provides comfort beyond words for years of hard use.

Performance That Lasts

In a survey conducted with Power Houdi-users, we learned that on average a Power Houdi is used several times per week, for a wide range of activities and over more than 10 years. This adds up to 1287 times of use. So, prepare to bring yours on 1287 starry camp nights, frosty morning runs, daily commutes and epic powder days.

Comfort for All Senses

When you put on a Power Houdi it sits very lightly on your body, but it hugs a little tighter in two places: The extended cuffs with thumb loops and the hoodie with its high, snug collar. The wrists and neck are two of the most sensitive areas of the body, with major arteries close to the skin. This is the secret to why the Power Houdi is so amazingly comfortable: It shelters two highly sensitive spots and quite literally warms the blood flow of your body.
