2024 Planetary Boundaries Assessment
The foundation to all sustainability work is knowing what your impact is. We are now releasing a new Planetary Boundaries update, where we analyze nine different aspects of our environmental impact.
In 2015, Houdini initiated the groundbreaking Planetary Boundaries Assessment, a holistic corporate evaluation based on the Planetary Boundaries framework. Together with scientists from Stockholm Resilience Center/Alba Eco, the institution that published the scientific framework, we looked over nine different aspects of its environmental impact: From climate impact to chemical use and biodiversity. Now, we are releasing a new assessment, based on the 2023 Planetary Boundaries Framework update and our own research and progress since the last report was published.

The Planetary Boundaries Assessment was conducted in collaboration with Albaeco and is the first of its kind. Albaeco has been working as strategists in sustainable development for 20 years, and have close links with the Stockholm Resilience Centre and the latest research in the field.
