Eating wild plants - spring hike

Eating wild plants is not only a global trend with historical roots but also tasty, nutritious, pleasurable, environmentally friendly and very creative. And a fantastic way to connect with nature. To pick and use wild plants requires knowledge of how and where to pick, how to identify what is edible and how to cook the plants.

Lisen talks about how spring's wild crops are used for food, home remedies and skin care products. Lisen Sundgren is a herbalist, author, natural health consultant and a passionate ambassador for a life in harmony with nature. Her latest book Eating Wild Plants came out in March 2020: a beginner's guide to 33 common wild plants to eat and pick. She has worked with several prominent chefs and contributed to increasing awareness and knowledge of the use of wild plants. Lisen is also a certified Nature and forest therapy guide. For over 20 years, she worked at Rosendals Trädgård and knows the garden inside and out.
