The idea of Romsdal Academy is to level up your mountain skills and have a great time doing it. Join us for a 4-day event packed with activities, workshops, new learnings, new friends, and breathtaking outdoor experiences.
The program
Build your own daytime festival program from six different workshops.
- Mountain Medicine
Learn the basic and most important actions in case of an accident in the mountains, led by an experienced physician.
- Steep Skiing
Explore the spectacular Romsdal couloirs and learn more about ski technique and safety in steep terrain.
- Sport Climbing
Sign up for a rock climbing class and develop your skills with a certified mountain guide among the beautiful local crags.
- Snow Safety
Let a certified mountain guide teach you avalanche safety including rescue techniques, planning, snow analysis and equipment.
- Mountain Running
Romsdalen is made for mountain running. Join a local expert for a scenic run, and enjoy guidance and advice along the way.
- Alpine climbing
Join a certified mountain guide on an adventurous alpine climb. Learn about the right gear and methods to handle exposed terrain.
In addition to the daytime workshops, there will be evening activities including lectures, film screenings, sauna, screen printing, and festival pub.
