What makes it special?
The Portland-based Rumpl was the ideal partner for a design collaboration. This lovely bunch of outdoor enthusiasts share our passion for innovative product design and responsible business. We took Rumpl’s signature product, the technical outdoor blanket, and cross bred it with our cutting edge sustainable material library. The result is a warm, light and waterproof blanket with a fully circular design inspired by nature itself. Let the Reconnect Blanket accompany you on any adventure, from your local camping spot to a high altitude hike or cold water surf session.

How does it work?
The Reconnect Blanket is made with a 20.000 mm H20 waterproof and breathable shell fabric and lined with C9 Ripstop for ultimate next-to-skin comfort and breathability. The blanket is insulated with 240g hollow fiber insulation that will keep you warm even in below freezing temperatures. Corner loops enable you to stake it to the ground or hang it as a tarp. All materials and trims are recycled and recyclable. It comes in a waterproof stow bag. And as if that was not enough, the best part is perhaps the double snap-on cape clips that lets you wear it like a cape.

When should I use it?
Regardless if you are a casual weekend-outdoor-coffee-enjoyer or a full-out alpine adventurer, we can almost guarantee that you will have a better time if you bring the Reconnect blanket on your next excursion. Wrap yourself in heavenly waterproof warmth as you enjoy a starlit dinner, reinforce your sleeping bag or warm up in between boulder sessions. Only your creativity sets the limits!

This product is fully recyclable and we highly encourage you to return it to Houdini after it’s fully worn out. We will take care of the raw materials and make sure they are used in new, useful products.

Synthetic materials

• Air out your clothes instead of washing them if they are not too dirty. You save water, energy, and it makes your clothes last longer.
• Wash in cold water.
• Use mild, environmentally certified laundry detergents and be careful to use the right dosage.
• Avoid fabric softeners. Besides being harmful to the environment, they degrade the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
• Hang dry if possible, but apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water-repellent surface on the outer fabric.
• Use a drying cabinet, a dryer, or an iron, just ensure you control the heat so the garment doesn't melt.
• Tumble dry on low heat.
• Do not iron.

Circular

The Circular label means that this product is made either from recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable fibers. Most products in today's society are made in a linear lifecycle, where earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This is not working in the long run and comes at a great environmental impact. Instead, we want to close the loop and reuse the material we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us through the recycling units we have in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Recyclable

The Recyclable label means that the raw material in this product can be used for new products, instead of becoming waste. Our goal is that by 2030, we will take no raw material to our products from the earth's crust. Circular products, made from reycled and recyclable materials are a real game changer, but we need your help for the system to work. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us. We have recycle units in all of our own stores and at many retailers.

Delivery times

Our delivery times are 2-5 days within Europe. All orders are processed at our distribution center in Stockholm, Sweden.
