Wild Spring at Rosendals Garden with Houdini on the Menu – the First Flavours of the Season!

Experience the first tastes of spring – a dining experience where Rosendals Garden’s gastronomic leader, Paul Svensson, and head chef Olle Broström celebrate the wild and the season’s first produce, including freshly harvested garlic grown in nutrient-rich soil from the kitchen garden’s Houdini compost. Six courses, where each dish carries flavours of newly harvested ingredients from the wild and our circular cultivation here at Rosendals Garden.

Saturday December 6

Evening Ski Touring Session

Join us on Saturday, December 6, for an evening ski tour by headlamp after the lifts have closed. Led by certified mountain guide (and Houdini sales representative) Josef Nyström Baksaas, we’ll skin our way up the mountain, practice technique and get hands-on with the equipment. Silva and SkistarShop will be on site for headlamp testing and touring ski demos. After the tour, we’ll gather at Gustav Bar and Grill for a warm drink and some snacks.

 

Where? Meeting point at Gustav Express. The tour heads up towards Gustavtoppen.

Ski Test Weekend in Åre

Winter is finally here, and we’re inviting you to two gatherings in Åre during Ski Test Weekend. Time to spark some stoke for the ski season ahead.

Saturday Morning Ski Touring in Ullådalen

We meet at 7:30 in Ullådalen for a relaxed morning ski tour. We’ll skin up to “startstugorna”, which takes about 45 minutes, and then ski back down to the parking lot. Once we’re back, we’ll serve pancakes, coffee, and tea. You’ll also have the chance to chat with our partners and explore their gear.

We’ll also showcase “Allt,” our circular backpack collaboration with Osprey. Estimated end time: 10:00.

Come hang out after a day on the slopes and warm up for the night ahead. Expect cold drinks, good tunes, and some of the best vibes of the weekend. Join us for an evening in nature as we explore Åre’s local trails at a comfortable, social pace. This 6 km adventure with 450 meters of elevation is open to everyone, whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just finding your footing on the trail. 

Along the way, you'll have the chance to test high-performance apparel from Houdini, try outdoor cooking gear from Primus and refuel with tasty drinks and energy bars.

We'll finish the evening with a warm, trail-cooked dinner shared in great company, and a goodie bag to take home.

We're taking a break from the boulders and bringing the community together for a relaxed evening at the Houdini Hub on Kungsgatan.

The evening kicks off at 18:00 with pizza and beer, before diving into a special screening of New Baseline together with climber Linda Sjödin, and an inside look at Houdini’s latest climbing apparel. We'll wrap up the evening with a fun quiz and the chance to win great prizes from Houdini!

Together with our friends at Rosendals Trädgård, we invite you to a unique dining experience; a celebration of the season’s first foraged greens and tender perennials, brought to life in an eight-course menu by chefs Paul Svensson, Jonas Bolling, and Olle Broström.

Each dish is infused with flavors from the wild and from Rosendals’ circular gardens, where our very own compost has played a part in nurturing this year’s rhubarb crop.

It’s an art, a form of self-expression, a way of being. While many coaches focus on optimizing technique, maximizing efficiency, and shaving off seconds, Peppe’s philosophy is different. He believes that true progression comes from reconnecting with the joy of movement, listening to the body, and embracing the unpredictability of nature.
