What makes it special?
The Power Up Jacket has a solid foundation to build on. The classic Houdini Power Houdi was launched in 2003 and has not changed significantly since then. For our Power Up Jacket, we took everything that was good Power Houdi, removed the hood and made the fit a bit wider and looser. The looser fit and hoodless design allow it to be worn on a layer-on-layer basis, making it incredibly versatile.
How does it work?
The Women's Power Up Jacket is made from the incredible Power Stretch® Pro™ from Polartec®, making it incomparably comfortable and incredible durable. The soft, durable surface and the warm, cozy inside are a hard-to-beat combination.
When we removed the hood, we didn't want to lose that highly valued sense of comfort. To achieve this, the Power Up Jacket was designed with a high, comfortable collar that provides that embracing feeling in inclement weather.
When should I use it?
Houdini Power Houdi has been the definition of versatility for two decades, but with the launch of the Power Up Jacket, it may see itself beaten. As the hooded and casual evolution of the iconic houdin, this timeless fleece is almost infinitely versatile and wearable in layers upon layers. Wear it under a shell jacket for skiing or hiking, use it when climbing or simply just as it is. The hard part will be not wearing it all the time.

Materials and technology
Outer fabric: Polartec® Power Stretch Pro®
Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro is a synthetic material that provides a good ratio between warmth and weight and it has good moisture transport. The soft inside is pleasant if it is directly against the skin. The surface of the fabric is very durable, which extends the life of the garment.

Care advice
base layer, base garment and fleece
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Do not tumble dry, it wears out both the clothes and the environment unnecessarily. Most synthetic garments dry quickly anyway.
- Hang dry.
