What makes them special?
Houdini's headquarters are located in Finnboda Hamn in Stockholm, on a site where there used to be a shipyard. Inspired by workwear, the Men's Dock Pants are a tribute to this history. The idea was to make a pair of trousers with a sturdy, timeless model and all the advantages of modern ones performance fabrics. A perfect everyday garment for the active.
How do they work?
Dock Pants men are made of immix Weave, a strong fabric with a little stretch. Thanks to their soft feel and breathability, they are perfect for everyday use, but the high durability and light weight also make them suitable for activities such as hiking and rock climbing. The fabric is made of 75% recycled and 25% pure polyester. Completely recyclable.
When to use them?
The Men's Dock Pants are the perfect choice if you want a pair of casual pants that you can take on any outdoor adventure.
Do not throw this garment away once it is worn out. The raw materials can be recycled and reused. We ask that you return them to one of Houdini's recycling units located in our stores and at many retailers.

Care advice
Synthetic clothing
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat.

The label Bluesign® means that a third party ensures that all harmful chemicals or substances are eliminated from the production process right from the start. It benefits both humans, animals and the entire planet.
circular
The label circular means that this product is made from either recycled and recyclable, or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.

The label recycled means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothing or other sources such as PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. One of our suppliers shows that mechanically recycled polyester saves 32% CO2 and uses 94% less water. In addition to the footprint of production, the big difference is that we use "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
