Description
Lana Cap is progressive innovation and technical performance in a timeless cut. This is not your average synthetic baseball cap. Lana is made from Wool Shell, a tightly woven 100% wool fabric with no coatings, synthetic blends or treatments. Simply the pure power of nature. The tight weave and the natural fat in wool, called lanolin, make this fabric wind and water resistant. The all-natural fabric feels soft against the skin and keeps you cool in the sun and warm in the rain.
Lana is the perfect all-round cap. Use it for mountaineering, skiing, hiking or your everyday adventures. Lana Cap features a classic six-panel cut, a curved brim and an adjustable strap at the back.
Do not throw this garment away when it is worn out. Lana Cap is made from renewable and recyclable fibers. The raw materials are valuable and can be reused. Take it to a Houdini store or one of our retailers that has a Houdini recycling unit.

Care advice
shell layers in wool - Lana
Wool is a fantastic material that has natural dirt and bacteria resistance. Therefore, wool does not need to be washed after each use. Hang up and vent instead. Too much washing deteriorates the wool's properties and wears out the garments unnecessarily.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag that protects your garments.
- Wash with a gentle program or wool program, maximum 30 degrees.
- Preferably use wool detergent and be sure to use the correct dosage. If you do not have detergent for wool, you can use mild environmentally certified detergents. Then choose a detergent without enzymes that has a neutral pH.
- Avoid bleaches, alkaline substances that raise the pH value and enzymes such as proteases or amylase because some enzymes break down proteins and fats in the wool. This also applies to silk.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Do not tumble dry, in addition to being bad for the environment, wool garments are sensitive to high heat.
- Shape the garment after washing and let it dry flat on, for example, a towel.

Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.
