Women's Core Tech Pants are a pair of softshell windbreaker pants designed for the adventure inspired functional lifestyle — designed to be used for everyday use as well as demanding adventures like climbing, hiking and kayaking. These are the perfect outdoor pants for most adventures from early spring to late fall.

How do they work?
Women's Core Tech Pants are made with Prime Ripstop™, a fully recyclable fabric that is light, stretchy and very comfortable to wear. The durable ripstop construction has a mechanical stretch with a perfect combination between air permeability and wind resistance. Women's Core Tech Pants has a 100% PFAS-free water repellent that will keep you shelterd from quick showers.

Women's Core Tech Pants are equipped with a large thigh pocket and two zippered hand pockets. The garment has articulated knees for optimal freedom of movement and an adjustable bottom hem with an elastic cord.

When should I use it?
Women's Core Tech Pants are multi-tool pants designed for most outdoor adventures and everyday use from early spring to late fall. The durable ripstop construction makes them tough enough for climbing, and the PFAS-free water repellent combined with the wind resistant fabric makes them great for activities like trekking/hiking.

This garment is completely recyclable and we kindly ask you to return it to us when it’s completely worn out. Nothing goes to waste and we can make new products from the raw material. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Care instructions

Softshell

Softshell or single layer shells are garments with a water repellent surface, but without a membrane.

  • Air clothes instead of washing and wash only when needed. Do make sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has gotten very sweaty or dirty as this weakens the performance of the garment. They can reduce the fabric's breathability and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow for moisture to leak though the fabric.
  • Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
  • Machine wash cold.
  • Use mild mild detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
  • Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce moisture transport and breathability.
  • Hang dry. Just remember to introduce heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water resistant surface of the outer fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure you monitor the heat so the garment does not melt.
  • You can reapply or enforce the water repellent treatment with a wash-in or spray when needed. Always use an water-repellent treatment intended for the garment: You can find both a spray and a wash-in in the webshop or in our stores.
