What makes it special?
Men's Power Up Houdi is standing on the shoulder of giants. The classic Houdini Power Houdi was launched 2003 and has remained virtually unchanged ever since. For the Power Up Houdi we assembled all the greatness of the Power Houdi and made the fit more relaxed. The looser fit allows for even more layering opportunities and exceptional versatility.
How does it work?
Men's Power Up Houdi is made with Polartec® Power Stretch™ Pro, an extraordinary mid-layer fabric featuring a triple fiber construction, with polyester as the main warming and moisture wicking fabric reinforced with nylon for strength and elastane for stretch. The smooth, durable face is perfect for layering and will endure years and years of hard use. The soft brushed inside feels fantastic next to skin and delivers high breathability and moisture transportation. Power Up Houdi features a high collar, snug hood, zippered side pockets and hidden adjustments in the hood and bottom hem.
When should I use it?
Power Houdi has been the definition of versatility for two decades, but with the birth of the Power Up Houdi it might have to see itself outranked. Being a relaxed fit evolution of the iconic houdi, the versatility and opportunities for layering with this timeless fleece are almost unlimited. Wear it underneath a shell for skiing or hiking, take it climbing or use this comfy fleece on its own. Chances are you’ll have a hard time not wearing it all the time.

Care instructions
Base layers, everyday garments and fleece made of synthetic fabrics
When washing clothes made of synthetic fabrics, the use of a washing bag becomes even more important: It prevents microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.
- Air clothes instead of washing to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer.
- Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don’t want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
- Machine wash cold.
- Use mild environmentally certified detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
- Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
- Do not dry in dryer. This exposes both the garment and the environment to unnecessary wear and tear. Most polyester garments dry quickly anyway.
- Hang dry.
