Design FeaturesShop Dunfri
All Dunfri garments are designed using Primaloft® Gold and Primaloft® Black, made with ultra-thin synthetic fibers. The thinner the fiber, the softer and more compressible the material gets, and the padding used in the Dunfri series is made of ultra-fine synthetic fibers that are inherently hydrophobic, meaning the fibers themselves are water resistant. The loft created by the fibers traps heat generated by your body in a soft, resilient layer of warm air that keeps water out but allows moisture to move from the inside out.

The Dunfri Insulation Series is not only designed to make life in the wild more comfortable for us humans. It’s also made to ease the pressure on animals and the natural world. Dunfri is Swedish for “down free”, instead we use cutting edge synthetic insulation from Primaloft®. We don’t want to risk hurting any birds for the sake of our comfort. Especially when we have high tech synthetic options that are just as good. Even better when it comes to water resistance and ease of care.
The Dunfri Series is made with circular materials, both padding, outer- and inner fabrics. By designing for circularity from the start and by having a take-back-system, we can safely say that Dunfri is a step towards a waste free world. It also reduces the use of all virgin raw materials, lowering its overall environmental impact.
