It will also limit microplastic leakage in the washing process, which also means preventing microfibers from entering into rivers and oceans. 

By using the washing bag you extend the lifecycle of your clothing and the microfibers that break during washing are captured inside the washing bag. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your waste basket.
