What makes it special?
This technical headband is designed to provide comfort for high pace activities in alpine environments. The hybrid design of Moonwalk Headband is the perfect balance between weather protection, weight, warmth and breathability. Smart, technical insulation garments have always been a Houdini trademark and Moonwalk Headband is the perfect example.

How does it work?
Moonwalk Headband is composed of two main fabrics: Polartec® Power Air™ Active and C9 Ripstop. Power Air is a warm, stretchy and comfy stretch fleece with a smooth surface, perfect for layering. The front and sides of the headband is reinforced with C9 Ripstop, an ultra light wind resistant fabric.

Functional aspects aside, Moonwalk Headband is also fully circular, PFAS free and features a fabric technology wherethe fibers that trap warm air are encapsulated in small pockets. This creates a wonderfully warm and breathable mid-layer fabric that sheds a fraction of the microplastic compared to a normal fleece.

When should I use it?
Moonwalk Headband is designed for high intensity activities in cold weather. Ski touring, winter running, cross country skiing or fast pace hiking are a few examples. The fine balance between warmth and breathability makes the garment relevant all year around.

This garment is made with the future in mind using materials fit for recycling. Please return it to Houdini when it is eventually worn out and the raw materials can be used again. This way we reduce the need for virgin resources, decrease environmental impact and waste streams.

Base layers, everyday garments and fleece made of synthetic fabrics

When washing clothes made of synthetic fabrics, the use of a washing bag becomes even more important: It prevents microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.

• Air clothes instead of washing to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer.
• Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don’t want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
• Machine wash cold.
• Use mild environmentally certified detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
• Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
• Do not dry in dryer. This exposes both the garment and the environment to unnecessary wear and tear. Most polyester garments dry quickly anyway.
• Hang dry.

The Bluesign® Label means that the production is vetted by a third party to eliminate any harmful chemicals or substances right from the beginning of the production process. This benefits both people, animals and our entire planet.

Circular

The Circular label means that this product is made either from recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable fibers. Most products in today's society are made in a linear lifecycle, where earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This is not working in the long run and comes at a great environmental impact. Instead, we want to close the loop and reuse the material we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us through the recycling units we have in all our own stores and at many retailers.
