Silvestre is designed to enable the user to move without effort between urban environments and the wild. It has all the technical features of a top-of-the-line light trekking shoe but challenges the conventions of traditional outdoor aesthetics. The word silvestre means “of the woods” or “of the wild” and this collaboration hopes to inspire people to explore the deeper, more untamed spaces of our world.
Made With the Finest Waste in the World
Work Hard Pants are made with Wool Chore Weave™, a fabric made with 100% MWool®, the next generation of recycled wool by Italian producer Manteco. This circular raw material is obtained by mechanically regenerating and repurposing pre- and post-consumer garments and scraps. All of this in a 0-mile, transparent value chain. Compared to a generic virgin wool fiber, this fiber has 65,5% less water consumption, 65,6% less CO2 emissions and 65,6% less total energy use. Instead of dyeing the fabrics, a blend of different recycled wool fibers is used to achieve a range of beautiful colors.

The Italian made, pure wool fabric is warm, breathable and adapts to your body like only an all-natural fabric can do. It is “developed to transcend fashion trends, to withstand the passing of time, and to become more beautiful with each repeated use”, as the fabric supplier elegantly puts it. The fabric is extremely strong, having passed through a unique set of durability and quality tests and this structure and strength makes it ideal for hard use in the great outdoors.
