The fabric is where the true innovation lies. The Woodland Jersey is a 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric made in Lenzig, Austria. It has an incredibly soft touch, a smooth drape and cool feel against the skin on warm summer days.
The wood and pulp used comes from sustainably managed forests and plantations. All TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are certified with FSC® or PEFC™, ensuring sustainable forest management and carry the EU Ecolabel. The TENCEL™ Lyocell factory in Lenzig recycles process water and reuses all chemicals at a recovery rate of more than 99%. Wood is a renewable resource and since we never mix natural fibers and synthetics, the fabric is also completely biodegradable.

When your Tree LS Tee eventually wears out, please don’t throw it away. Leave it in a Houdini recycling unit that can be found at Houdini stores and at many retailers. We will make sure the raw materials are recycled or composted. Nothing goes to waste!

Care advice
Lyocell
Lyocell is a fiber that consists of cellulose from wood. The material is extremely nice and pleasant against the skin, but like all fibers of natural materials, it is relatively delicate to wash. Follow the washing instructions and your garment will last a long time and maintain comfort and performance.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag that protects your garments.
- Wash with a gentle program, maximum 30 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Avoid bleach and alkaline substances.
- Do not tumble dry, it wears out both the clothes and the environment unnecessarily.
- Iron on low heat.
- Tencel naturally shrinks after washing and can shrink up to 8%. Stretch the garment after washing and let it dry hanging or flat.

The label Bluesign® means that a third party ensures that all harmful chemicals or substances are eliminated from the production process right from the start. It benefits both humans, animals and the entire planet.
biodegradable
The material in this product is biodegradable. Thanks to the fact that we do not mix our natural materials with synthetic fibers and do not use harmful chemicals, you can compost the product and the only thing left is nutritious soil. Details such as washcloths, zippers, seams, etc. must be cut off and can usually be recycled separately. If you do not have your own compost, you can return the product to us when it is completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.
