How does it work?
A garment like this is not based on technical functions, but on the fabric's comfort and incredible tactile feel. The Men's Tree Shortsleeve Shirt is made from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell, which is produced using wood pulp from sustainably produced trees in a closed production facility with minimal waste. The fabric is made from completely renewable sources and is biodegradable and certified with the EU eco-label. We recommend taking a size larger than normal as it shrinks up to 8% when washed.
When should I use it?
The Men's Tree Shortsleeve Shirt is an essential garment for all active lifestyles. The super soft and cool fabric provides shade on all summer trips, hikes or other medium-intensity activities. The close-to-skin feel means you'll want to wear it every day all year round.
This garment is completely circular and when worn out we ask that you return it to Houdini. The raw materials can be reused and it would be a shame to let them go to waste.

Materials and technology
Outer fabric: Woodland Jersey
A 100% Tencel® fabric manufactured in Lenzig, Austria from sustainably produced wood pulp. It has an incredibly soft feel, a nice fall and feels cool against the skin on hot summer days. Lyocell materials often shrink more than other fabrics after washing, up to 8%.

Care advice
Lyocell
Lyocell is a fiber that consists of cellulose from wood. The material is extremely nice and pleasant against the skin, but like all fibers of natural materials, it is relatively delicate to wash. Follow the washing instructions and your garment will last a long time and maintain comfort and performance.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag that protects your garments.
- Wash with a gentle program, maximum 30 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Avoid bleach and alkaline substances.
- Do not tumble dry, it wears out both the clothes and the environment unnecessarily.
- Iron on low heat.
- Tencel naturally shrinks after washing and can shrink up to 8%. Stretch the garment after washing and let it dry hanging or flat.

The material in this product is biodegradable. Thanks to the fact that we do not mix our natural materials with synthetic fibers and do not use harmful chemicals, you can compost the product and the only thing left is nutritious soil. Details such as washcloths, zippers, seams, etc. must be cut off and can usually be recycled separately. If you do not have your own compost, you can return the product to us when it is completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
