Description
The Men's Pace Trail Shorts are not only the perfect shorts for high-paced activities, they are also circular in design. They are made from recycled materials and when they wear out they are completely recyclable.
How does it work?
The inner tights are made of 100% recycled polyester and not mixed with other materials. This is groundbreaking for running tights, where other fibers are almost always added. With the Circle Stretch Knit fabric, we can offer a high-quality tights fabric that is circular in design. The ultralight shorts on top are made from our C9 Stretch fabric and the two pieces are joined at a comfortable and adjustable waist.
The short tights underneath prevent chafing and provide extra warmth. The shorts have two smaller open side pockets for storing energy bars or similar. You also have a larger storage pocket on one thigh and a zippered phone pocket on the back of the waistband.
When should I use it?
The Men's Pace Trail Shorts are the perfect garment for high-paced activities. A product designed to keep you cool when pushing the pace during intervals or running longer mountain tours. Wear them next to your skin for all high-intensity summer activities.
Do not throw this garment away once it is worn out. Repair it if possible and finally recycle it. In this way, we can use the raw materials for new products instead of creating more waste. We have recycling points in all Houdini stores and at many retailers.

A light but durable woven fabric with great breathability and excellent comfort close to the skin. Made of 50% recycled polyester and fully recyclable.

Tights: Circle Stretch Knit
After several years of development, we can proudly present a fully circular fabric for running tights. The advantage of pure polyester is that it dries much faster, is better for the layer-on-layer principle and has excellent moisture transport properties. It is also fully recyclable, which means that when traditional running tights become waste at the end of their life cycle, garments made with Circle Stretch Knit can become new products. It saves resources, reduces emissions and minimizes the total environmental impact. Circle Stretch Knit weighs 180 g/m², which is a familiar weight for running tights.

Care advice
Synthetic clothing
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat.
