What makes it special?
What really sets the Pace Hybrid Vest men apart is how it feels to wear it. It is light, soft and fits well. It provides light insulation but never makes you too warm. The fabrics have been chosen for performance but also comfort. Because we believe you perform better when you feel completely comfortable. Lightweight weather protection and easy to wear as layer-on-layer without ever being too heavy, that's the idea behind the Pace Hybrid Vest for men.
How does it work?
Pace Hybrid Vest men is made of fabrics that work together: Octa C9 Softshell across the chest and shoulders and C9 Ripstop on the back. Octa C9 has a soft and durable surface and an open lining back that provides lightweight insulation but never hinders breathability. The front protects against wind and has a water repellency PFAS free impregnation that protects against light snow or short rain showers. For the back, we have chosen C9 Ripstop, an ultralight fabric breathable without insulation, which is perfect for the part of the garment that is less exposed to the weather.
What should I use it for?
Pace Hybrid Vest men is primarily created for activities with a high heart rate, such as Running, skiing, hiking or cross-country skiing. It is a very versatile garment that can be used all year round and that you can use for many different activities.
This garment is made from recycled and recyclable fibers and we would love for you to return it to Houdini at the end of its life cycle. We can use the materials to create new products, eliminate waste and save our planet's precious resources. Houdini's recycling units are available in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Care advice
Synthetic clothing
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat.

This product is completely circular, which means it is made from either recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.

The label recycled means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothing or other sources such as PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. One of our suppliers shows that mechanically recycled polyester saves 32% CO2 and uses 94% less water. In addition to the footprint of production, the big difference is that we use "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
