Light and cool like a summer breeze, the Stride Skirt is the perfect garment for hot summer days. It is light, soft and stretchy and dries quickly. With the packable material and storage pocket, it's perfect to take in your beach bag or backpack when you're on the go.
How does it work?
The fabric Wish Woven is highly functional and provides perfect cool comfort on hot summer days. It is soft, stretchy and light. It's the same fabric we use in the running shorts, which makes the Stride Skirt much more functional than you might think at first glance. It is designed for activities, with slits in the sides for full freedom of movement. The skirt has two side pockets with zips that can also be used to pack the skirt down.
When to use it?
It is perfect for the beach but also on a hot summer hike. The packable fabric makes it a perfect travel companion. The Stride Skirt is a bargain if you're looking for a functional and versatile skirt for summer adventures. A small warning: Once you put it on, it will be difficult to dress in anything else.
This garment is recyclable and we would love for you to return it to Houdini when worn out. That way, the raw material can be used for new products and nothing is lost. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Care advice
Synthetic clothing
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat.

This product is completely circular, which means it is made from either recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.

The label recycled means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothing or other sources such as PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. One of our suppliers shows that mechanically recycled polyester saves 32% CO2 and uses 94% less water. In addition to the footprint of production, the big difference is that we use "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
