What makes it special?
The Pace series is a collection of clothing designed for high heart rate activities. During the development process, Houdini's design team focused on one thing above all else: the garments would feel amazing when worn. The shape of the garment, the light flexible fabrics, the quiet comfort. Because we believe you perform better when you feel your best.
How does it work?
Pace Wind Jacket women is made in a combination of two of our favorite fabrics: C9 Ripstop and Wish Woven. C9 Ripstop is windproof but at the same time very windproof breathable fabric covering the chest and arms. Under the arms and at the sleeve edges it provides soft and flexible Wish Woven exceptional comfort and breathability. Both fabrics are made of 70% recycled and recyclable polyester, so that the garment is completely circular. The ripstop fabric over the chest and sleeves is bio-based PFAS free water repellent treatment.
When to use it?
Pace Wind Jacket women is the perfect garment if you are looking for an ultralight jacket for high-intensity activities such as Running, exercise or cycling. It removes the worst of wind and rain but never hinders breathability.
The jacket is fully recyclable and when it is completely worn out we would like you to send it back to us for recycling. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers. That way, we can use the raw material for new products and at the same time reduce the total environmental impact.

Care advice
Synthetic clothing
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat.

This product is completely circular, which means it is made from either recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.

The label recycled means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothing or other sources such as PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. One of our suppliers shows that mechanically recycled polyester saves 32% CO2 and uses 94% less water. In addition to the footprint of production, the big difference is that we use "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
