Description
The first garment you should pack for the summer holidays. The Route Shirt Dress is a functional and minimalist dress with a feathery finish. It is manufactured from recycled polyester. The areas of use are not only limited to everyday use, but the dress is made to be taken on the camping, the trip, the festival and other adventures.
A central part of Houdini's design philosophy is to create clothes that last. Garments that, with their high quality, versatile functionality and timeless style, never need to be replaced. The Route Shirt Dress is designed to be the perfect travel companion for sunny adventures. It's thin enough to take to the beach, but also tough and durable enough to walk in.
The dress is made in the material Wish Woven, a super thin polyester material made of 70% recycled polyester and it consists of 100% recyclable fibers. It is stretchy and has an incredibly soft feeling against the skin. It dries in an instant, making it perfect for layering over wet swimwear. The dress is easily packed in its own pocket and takes up minimal space in the suitcase.
The Route Shirt Dress is made for those who want a comfortable dress that eliminates the number of items you need to bring on vacation. The functional material combined with the timeless style gives the Route Dress an almost infinite number of areas of application.
This product is recyclable and we ask that you return it to us when it is completely worn out. We have recycling stations in all our own stores as well as at many of our retailers. When we get it back, we can recycle the material and create new clothes from it. Nothing goes to waste!

Care advice
base layer, base garment and fleece
When washing clothes made of synthetic materials, it is especially important to prevent the spread of microfibres in the water by using a laundry bag.
- Air clothes instead of washing if the clothes are not too dirty. You save water, energy and it makes the clothes last longer.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag. It protects your garments and prevents microfibers from leaking out. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe clean and dispose of lint in the bin. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can then end up in lakes and oceans.
- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.
- Wash with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Do not tumble dry, it wears out both the clothes and the environment unnecessarily. Most synthetic garments dry quickly anyway.
- Hang dry.

The label circular means that this product is made from either recycled and recyclable, or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.

The label recycled means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothing or other sources such as PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. One of our suppliers shows that mechanically recycled polyester saves 32% CO2 and uses 94% less water. In addition to the footprint of production, the big difference is that we use "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
