Wool Liner
Light gloves in a soft and warm mix of merino wool and Tencel. Can be used as an inner glove or by itself as a lighter wool glove.
Description
Wool Liners are designed in Terry Treemerino, a lightweight terry material made from 60% merino wool and 40% Tencel™ Lyocell. This Swedish-made material is a lovely combination of warm, cozy merino wool and soft, smooth Tencel™. In addition to warmth, merino wool provides natural odor resistance. The material keeps the heat even when it gets wet, and works perfectly all year round. The Australian merino wool is of high quality (19.3µm) and guaranteed to be mulesing-free. The material is made from renewable sources and is completely biodegradable.
Use as a heat-insulating inner glove in a thicker glove or mitten, or on its own as a thin wool glove.
Please do not throw away the garment when it is worn out. Wool Liners are made from recycled and recyclable fibers. The valuable raw materials can be reused. Feel free to drop off the garment at a Houdini store or take it to a retailer that has one of our recycling units.

Care advice
Woolen clothing
Wool is a fantastic material that has natural dirt and bacteria resistance. Therefore, wool does not need to be washed after each use. Hang up and vent instead. Too much washing deteriorates the wool's properties and wears out the garments unnecessarily.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag that protects your garments.
- Wash with a gentle program or wool program, maximum 30 degrees.
- Preferably use wool detergent and be sure to use the correct dosage. If you do not have detergent for wool, you can use mild environmentally certified detergents. Then choose a detergent without enzymes that has a neutral pH.
- Avoid bleaches, alkaline substances that raise the pH value and enzymes such as proteases or amylase because some enzymes break down proteins and fats in the wool. This also applies to silk.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Do not tumble dry, in addition to being bad for the environment, wool garments are sensitive to high heat.
- Shape the garment after washing and let it dry flat on, for example, a towel.
- As wool is a natural and living material, it is relatively easily shaped by external influences. Therefore, store your woolen garments folded and do not hang them on hangers to avoid the garments losing their shape.
sustainability
circular
The label circular means that this product is made from either recycled and recyclable, or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.
biodegradable
The material in this product is biodegradable. Thanks to the fact that we do not mix our natural materials with synthetic fibers and do not use harmful chemicals, you can compost the product and the only thing left is nutritious soil. Details such as washcloths, zippers, seams, etc. must be cut off and can usually be recycled separately. If you do not have your own compost, you can return the product to us when it is completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
renewable
The label renewable means that the product is made entirely of natural, renewable materials. We only use natural fibers that are environmentally sustainable and ethically produced. We use both natural materials and synthetic fibers, both have their advantages, but we never mix them to ensure the product is circular. This means that all fabrics in our products made from natural materials are biodegradable.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
