M's Desoli Shirt
Soft and warm medium thickness flannel shirt for men in 100% super fine merino wool. Wear it as is or as part of a layer-on-layer system. Perfect for hiking all year round but also for skiing or other winter sports.
Description
Comfort and performance provided by nature itself, that’s the idea behind our pure merino wool Desoli Series. Men's Desoli Shirt exists where tailoring meets performance: Cut in a minimalistic and timeless form with hidden superpowers provided by the pure merino wool.
Men's Desoli Shirt is made in Solid Flannel Merino™, a soft and warm woven fabric made with nothing but pure 17,5 μm merino wool. The 193 g/m² weight puts it in the mid weight category, perfect for use in fall, winter and spring but also for a little extra warmth on a summer night. The superfine merino wool feels fantastic against the skin and the natural antibacterial properties help the garment stay fresh longer. The unblended wool also makes the garment circular, which means that when your Desoli base layer is worn out, it can be recycled or even composted.
Men's Desoli Shirt has a buttoned chest pocket, classic buttoned sleeve endings and a side split for extra comfort and a better fit. In many ways, Men's Desoli Shirt will give you what you expect from a flannel shirt: It’s warm, comfy and works for just about any activity all year around. But with the added functionality of the 100% pure merino wool, this is much more of a performance garment and works beautifully in any technical layering system. You can even wear it next to your skin as a warm base layer.

Care advice
Woolen clothing
Wool is a fantastic material that has natural dirt and bacteria resistance. Therefore, wool does not need to be washed after each use. Hang up and vent instead. Too much washing deteriorates the wool's properties and wears out the garments unnecessarily.
- Feel free to use a laundry bag that protects your garments.
- Wash with a gentle program or wool program, maximum 30 degrees.
- Preferably use wool detergent and be sure to use the correct dosage. If you do not have detergent for wool, you can use mild environmentally certified detergents. Then choose a detergent without enzymes that has a neutral pH.
- Avoid bleaches, alkaline substances that raise the pH value and enzymes such as proteases or amylase because some enzymes break down proteins and fats in the wool. This also applies to silk.
- Avoid fabric softener. In addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's performance, especially moisture transport and drying time.
- Do not tumble dry, in addition to being bad for the environment, wool garments are sensitive to high heat.
- Shape the garment after washing and let it dry flat on, for example, a towel.
- As wool is a natural and living material, it is relatively easily shaped by external influences. Therefore, store your woolen garments folded and do not hang them on hangers to avoid the garments losing their shape.
sustainability
circular
This product is completely circular, which means it is made from either recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable materials. Most products in today's society are linear, where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This does not work in the long run and causes enormous strain on the environment. Instead, we want to close the circle and reuse the materials we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini products are completely worn out, return them to us through our recycling units located in all our own stores and many retailers.
recycled
The label recycled means that this garment contains at least 50% recycled fibers (often more, see product description). The source is either recycled clothing or other sources such as PET bottles. We mainly use recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester. One of our suppliers shows that mechanically recycled polyester saves 32% CO2 and uses 94% less water. In addition to the footprint of production, the big difference is that we use "waste" as raw material instead of crude oil.
Recyclable
The label Recyclable means that the fabric in this product is completely recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the material can be used to manufacture new products. Our goal is to take no material from the earth's crust into our products by 2030. Circular products, made from recycled and recyclable materials, is a big change but we need your help to make the system work. Return your Houdini garments to us when they are completely worn out. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.
