In 2015, Houdini initiated the groundbreaking Planetary Boundaries Assessment, a holistic business assessment based on the Planetary Boundaries framework. Together with the organization Albaeco, which works in close collaboration with the Stockholm Resilience Center – the institution that published the scientific framework, we examined nine different aspects of our environmental impact: from climate impact to chemical use and biological diversity. Now we're releasing a new assessment, based on the 2023 Planetary Boundaries framework update and our own research and progress since the last report was published.

Houdini's Planetary Boundaries Assessment has been carried out in collaboration with Albaeco and is the first of its kind. Albaeco has worked as a strategist in sustainable community development for 20 years, and has close connections to the Stockholm Resilience Center and the latest research in the field.
