Men’s Core Tech Houdi is a softshell jacket designed for the adventurous functional lifestyle — designed to be used for work and the daily bike commute as well as demanding adventures like climbing, hiking and kayaking. The combination of low weight, light weather protection, a highly breathable fabric and durable construction makes Core Tech Houdi highly versatile and made for every aspect of life. This is the perfect multi-tool from early spring to late fall.

How does it work?
Men’s Core Tech Houdi is made with Prime Ripstop™, a fully recyclable fabric that is light, stretchy and super comfortable to wear. The durable ripstop construction has a mechanical stretch and a perfect combination between air permeability and wind resistance. A water repellency finish designed without PFAS will keep you dry through quick showers and light rains.

Men’s Core Tech Houdi is equipped with 2 zippered hand pockets, 1 zippered chest pocket and a 2-way front zipper. The pocket bags also work as inside stash pockets. The hood and bottom hem has drawcord adjustments and the sleeve endings have integrated elastics for extra comfort and protection.

When should I use it?
Men’s Core Tech Houdi is a multi-tool designed for most outdoor adventures and everyday use from early spring all the way to late fall. The durable ripstop construction makes it tough enough for climbing, and the water repellent combined with the wind resistant fabric makes it great for activities like trekking.

This garment is completely recyclable and we kindly ask you to return it to us when it’s completely worn out. Nothing goes to waste and we can make new products from the raw material. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Care instructions

Softshell

Softshell or single layer shells are garments with a water repellent surface, but without a membrane.

Air clothes instead of washing and wash only when needed. Do make sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has gotten very sweaty or dirty as this weakens the performance of the garment. They can reduce the fabric's breathability and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow for moisture to leak though the fabric.
Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
Machine wash cold.
Use mild mild detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce moisture transport and breathability.
Hang dry. Just remember to introduce heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water resistant surface of the outer fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure you monitor the heat so the garment does not melt.
You can reapply or enforce the water repellent treatment with a wash-in or spray when needed. Always use an water-repellent treatment intended for the garment: You can find both a spray and a wash-in in the webshop or in our stores.
