How does it work?
Women's Ride Insulated Jacket is made with the light, strong and smooth Flow 2L and insulated with Primaloft Silver Highloft Ultra. The face fabric is a 2-layer circular shell fabric, fully waterproof and breathable. Together with the warm, light and lofty 60 g Primaloft® insulation, you have a combination of materials that perfectly balances warmth, weather protection and comfort. You are fully sheltered from cold or wet weather but never weighed down or hindered to move freely.

Women's Ride Insulated Jacket has all the features required for alpine adventures: Removable snow skirt, helmet compatible hood, vent zips, waterproof zippers, hand- and inner pockets. The jacket is also designed to minimize any negative impact on nature: The fabric and padding are made from recycled and recyclable fibers and the garment is completely free from PFAS.

When should I use it?
Women's Ride Insulated Jacket is primarily designed for alpine skiing and snowboarding, but definitely extends to everyday life. Remove the snowskirt and you have a perfect everyday winter jacket. The minimalist design and smart features makes the garment highly versatile.

This garment is made with the future in mind using materials fit for recycling. Please return it to Houdini when it is eventually worn out and the raw materials can be used again. This way we reduce the need for virgin resources, decrease environmental impact and waste streams.

Care instructions

Insulated shell jackets

This garment uses synthetic PrimaLoft® insulation, which dries quickly and does not require tumble-drying with balls to restore its shape.

Air the garment between uses and wash only when needed. Wash after exposure to salt water, heavy perspiration or significant dirt to maintain breathability and water repellency.
Use a washing bag to protect the garment and help capture released fibers. Dispose of collected lint in household waste and do not rinse it into drains or waterways.
Machine wash cold.
Use a detergent intended for waterproof or insulated garments, or a mild detergent, and follow the recommended dosage.
Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce moisture management and breathability.
Hang dry. After washing, apply controlled heat according to the care label to reactivate the water-repellent treatment.
Reapply a water-repellent treatment intended for waterproof shell garments when needed, following the product instructions.
