W's Power Houdi - Breaker Gray
A Houdini classic. Fleece jacket in Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™. Minimalist design that works both in extreme conditions and for everyday comfort.
Description
Long time Houdini classic worn and loved by everyone from mountain guides to gardeners to bike commuters. Made in Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™, an exceptional fabric with a smooth outside and warm, fluffy inside. Equally tough and comfortable.
The Houdini design team never set out the create the latest news. The goal is to never become old. The Power Houdi has remained virtually unchanged since the launch 15 years ago. The versatile functionality, timeless aesthetics and durable quality makes it into one of those items that simply don’t need to be replaced.
The Power Houdi is made in Power Stretch® Pro from Polartec®. We have never encountered a better fleece fabric. It is almost indestructible but yet cozy, warm and comfortable. Use the garment underneath a shell jacket in the ski slope, take it climbing or wear it just like it is. Extended sleeves with thumb loops will keep your hand warm and the high collar and tight fitting hood will provide comfort in cold weather.
A little warning though. We often hear that our customers become addicted to the Power Houdi and we can only agree. It’s hard to take off once you put it on. The reason that we love the Power Houdi is that it becomes more than just a piece of clothing in your wardrobe. It becomes a companion and will keep you warm for many years of adventures.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Power Houdi and Power Up Houdi?
The fabric is the same: Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro, our warmest fleece. The difference is the fit and the sleeves. Power Houdi has a close fit and extended sleeves with thumb loops. Power Up has a straighter, slightly looser fit and no thumb loops, so the sleeves are a little shorter. The hood, collar and hem adjustment are the same.
My Power Houdi feels tight under the arms. What should I choose?
Power Up Houdi gives more room across the chest and stomach with the same hood and warmth. That's usually better than sizing up in Power Houdi, since the sleeves would then be even longer.
Is there a Power Houdi without thumb loops?
Yes, in practice that's Power Up Houdi. If you want it without a hood, Power Up Jacket comes in the same fabric.
How does Aero differ from the Power family?
Aero is less warm and has an inside with small "pillows" for better airflow. The Power family has a brushed, soft inside and is warmer.
I'm between two sizes. Which one should I choose?
Think about what you'll wear underneath. Shell and winter jackets have room for layers, so take your usual size if you'll only wear a sweater underneath, and size up if you want room for fleece or down. Midlayers like Power Houdi and Lykan should ideally follow the body.

Care instructions
Synthetic materials
When washing clothes made of synthetic fabrics, the use of a washing bag becomes even more important: It prevents microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.
- Air clothes instead of washing to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer.
- Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don’t want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
- Machine wash, max 40 °C/104 °F.
- Use mild environmentally certified detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
- Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat.
