Would you like to work at Houdini?
Our constant drive to improve comfort, style and sustainability has given us a frontrunner position within the outdoor industry. With a unique and sustainable product line, an innovative business model and a global yet selective distribution strategy, we are now ready for the next phase of our journey - and we need your help!
We're looking for a creative, business-oriented, but above all curious mind to join us at our head office in Stockholm for an exciting pilot to research and develop circular business models for the future. Our goal is to create a smart, resource-efficient and agile business set-up that can provide products and services that are not only better for the planet, but also better for our customers. By eliminating the concept of waste and the need for clearance sale, we want to offer new ways for customers to use our products - for their own benefit as well as for the planet's.
The pilot will last for six months and is part of a two-year project with the goal to launch a new concept by mid 2019. As an intern working on this pilot, you'll be working closely with various key people within our organization. You will coordinate the daily operational work within the pilot, be the main point of contact for the participants of the pilot and play a big role in gathering both quantitative and qualitative data. You will report to the Head of Innovation, but the work will involve a lot of interaction with many stakeholders and all participants of the pilot.
As an intern at Houdini, you will work together with multiple teams across different departments to create the solutions of tomorrow. With a strong company culture and uncompromising commitment to our core values and vision, we have a history of choosing unconventional paths. We are always keen to work with open-minded, bold and committed individuals and this project is no different. Are you the one we're looking for?
- Hold a university degree or are enrolled in a bachelor/master's program in Business Administration or Economics.
- Are an energetic team player and have a creative mindset.
- Have an analytical eye and enjoy complex thinking.
- Possess excellent communication skills and have a strong customer focus.
- Are service-minded and reliable with a hands-on mentality
- Are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office and other general IT related systems.
- Are available full-time for six months from September onwards (exact starting date is flexible).
As most of the participants in this pilot are based in Stockholm, a basic knowledge of Swedish might come in handy, but this is absolutely no requirement.
