OrganoTex® Sport Textile Wash

BioCare Sports Textile Wash from OrganoTex® is a gentle and environmentally friendly detergent specially designed for technical sportswear with DWRs (durable water repellent). It’s perfect for shell layers and soft shells but also for backpacks, tents or other synthetic textiles.

BioCare Sports Textile Wash is biobased and does not leave chemical residue that could harm the garments’ performance or nature’s eco systems. It does not wash away water repellents like normal detergents and therefore you don’t have to reapply waterproofing treatments as often. Most of the time, it’s enough to reactivate the DWR after wash with heat from a dryer. When you eventually need to reapply the DWR, use this detergent before the treatment. No leftover chemical residue will compromise the function of the new DWR. BioCare Sports Textile Wash also works in cold water which is great for products like backpacks or tents that can’t be machine washed.

BioCare Sports Textile Wash is the perfect alternative if you want to take good care of your technical sportswear. It effectively removes everything from dirt to stains from blood, grass or grease. Besides prolonging the garments life and functionality, it’s a biobased product that does not leave any harmful chemical residue. The detergent is not recommended for wool since it contains enzymes that damages the wool’s natural functionality. It’s perfect for all synthetic garments and especially those with water repellents.
