Lunch Lectures are a monthly recurring feature at the Houdini office. We invite people and organizations who are experts in areas that we are not. We call them "Lunch for Lifelong Learning" and until now they have been internal. But this month's topic was too important and timely to keep to ourselves so we decided to open it up to everyone.

'We acknowledge that all life is vulnerable and therefore under threat. We acknowledge that concern for nature implies a concern for greater justice: Our way of life affects in particular the poorest among us, indigenous peoples, and future generations.'

This is a passage from the Stetind Declaration that Houdini wrote in 2016. We promised to always speak up for nature, especially when it is faced with threats. Now valuable nature, indigenous people's rights, life and culture are under threat near the world heritage site of Laponia.
