Christian Åslund

To save the world or do powder snow photo shoots? Christian does both.

Christian Åslund started working with Greenpeace in 1998 and has since documented campaigns in India, Svalbard in Norway, Iraq, Indonesia, Alaska and throughout the US. Christian was on the Greenpeace boat Arctic Sunrise and documented the blocking of the toxic ship Probo Koala until it remained in Estonia. In addition to his assignments for Greenpeace, Christian is also one of Sweden's premier ski photographers.

His photographs have been published in magazines all around the world, such as Powder Magazine, Outside, Ultrasport and Brant. Through his work as a ski photographer, our clothing is put to the toughest tests. He carries all of his equipment up mountains to stand still for many cold hours, so Christian needs clothes that can also take the great temperature changes.
